🚧 Spring surge at the Drob Bogs construction site in Kalen – work is underway across all facilities!
Following the winter break, the Drob Bogs project in Kalen has picked up pace significantly. Work is being carried out simultaneously across all facilities and in all trades, with further elements of the infrastructure nearing completion.
🏭 Wastewater treatment plant
Final finishing works are underway. The installation of an industrial floor is planned for the coming days. Electrical installations are already complete, and the façade is entering its final stage of construction.
💨 Process tanks
The aeration tank is practically ready – once the leak test has been carried out, it will be ready for commissioning. The buffer tank has been fully completed. The hydrolysis tank is also ready, whilst leak tests are currently underway in the fermentation chamber.
🛠 Technical facilities
In the technical buildings, the installation of electrical systems has been completed and cable connections have been prepared. In some of the facilities, only minor finishing works remain, such as applying thin-layer coatings or installing staircases.
🏢 Accompanying facilities
In the blower shed, the final works involving resin application and cosmetic finishing are underway. Roofing is currently being installed in the production building, whilst wall panelling is being carried out in the storage shed.
