COMPLETION OF MLP CZELADŹ INVESTMENT AND BREEAM CERTIFICATION

In March, we completed the construction of the MLP Czeladź Logistics Park, which includes a warehouse hall, associated facilities, technical infrastructure and a transport system.

As part of this project, we implemented requirements to obtain a BREEAM certificate. In the BREEAM International New Construction Version 6.0 certification system for the Post-Construction Stage, the building we constructed, achieved a score of 76.8%, which means receiving a Final BREEAM International New Construction Version 6.0 Shell and Core certificate at the EXCELLENT level.

The BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) certificate is currently one of the most widely used methods for assessing buildings for their environmental performance in Europe. It was created in 1990 by the BRE (Building Research Establishment) organisation. The method focuses on assessing the quality of the investment process carried out. BREEAM is therefore an excellent project management tool. Its purpose is to set new standards in construction. The consequences of its use are enormous achievements in terms of environmental protection, building comfort and building efficiency. Elements such as management, energy, health and well-being, pollution, transport, land use, ecology, materials, water are assessed.

Facilities that have been BREEAM-certified with a VERY GOOD rating include the office and retail complex Plac Unii in Warsaw and Manufaktura in Łódź.

We were guided through the complex BREEAM certification process by JW+A Sp. z o.o. from Warsaw. Thank you for your cooperation.
